The 2020-21 school year is the first year for the Advocating for the Community Through (A.C.T.S.) course. This course serves as the senior capstone experience for students in South Atlanta's A.C.T.S. Program.
Students are required to work on projects that will solve or address a community problem in groups of 3-4 individuals. This year, two teams are tackling two very timely issues within the city of Atlanta.
It takes a village to prepare students for our current world and therefore we encourage the village to participate in class! We have welcomed some of the best talent to serve as instructors, coaches and speakers.
The learning is in the process and not just the product... Read reflections from the course instructor as well as student participants about their journey this year.
